Welcome to the Rock Valley Community School District Online Registration Information page. We are excited to begin this new process and hope it will help make Registration less time consuming for our families!
Rock Valley CSD is implemented the Online Registration (OLR) tool located within Infinite Campus, our student information system, to register our students last year in August. We will continue to use this online tool to register our "Rock Star" students again this year.
To use the Online Registration Infinite Campus tool, you must have an active Parent Portal Account.
- If you have an active Parent Portal account, Great! You can begin registering at any time.
- If you do not have an active Parent Portal Account, No Problem! You will need to have it activated before you can register. Therefore, if you are an existing family within our district and you have NOT set up your Parent Portal Account, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your first and last name and a phone number where you can be reached and a district employee will assist you. If you have set up your Parent Portal in the past and FORGOT your username or password, please send an email to email@example.com and note you need help with resetting your password, or you forgot your username.
The Online Registration Tool will open on July 27, 2022 for ALL Returning Families. If you are a NEW Family, you must attend Registration Day at school.
Thursday, August 11, 2022 is Registration Day for ALL NEW FAMILIES to the District and ANY returning families that would like assistance in registering their students. Registration Day Hours are 7:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. & 1:30 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.

QUICK TIP: Although using your phone with the Mobile App works with Online Registration, it has been found that the OLR tool works best when using a laptop or desktop computer to complete the application. We also recommend using the following browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari.
If you currently have children enrolled at Rock Valley Community Schools and you have an Infinite Campus Parent Portal Account, complete the following:
REMEMBER! Before beginning this new Online Registration process, you must have an Infinite Campus Parent Portal Account to begin. If you do not have an existing Portal Account, please refer to the Parent Portal instructions above.
STEP 1 – GOOGLE FORM
This form contains the required information and permission forms needed each year for your students.
STEP 2 – INFINITE CAMPUS ONLINE REGISTRATION
When the Google form from Step 1 is completed, the final page will provide a link to take you to the Login Page of the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Once you are logged in, click on "More" menu on the left-hand side. Then, choose Online Registration.
To complete the Online Registration Application, you will need to review each pleat, make any corrections needed, then click the Next button. Once each pleat within the application is completed, you will be directed to click the SUBMIT button. You may also print a copy of your application before submitting. You will receive an email confirmation at several points throughout the process to keep you informed of any changes to the status of your application. Once you submit your household application, return to the portal menu and click on fees.
STEP 3 - PAY FEES
Registration fees are assigned and accessible through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. To pay Registration fees, when logged in to your account, click “Fees” on the left-hand side. Payments can be easily made through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal by e-Check or credit card, or by bringing cash or check on Registration Day, August 11, 2022. All fees must be paid by August 18, 2022.
Additionally, you will have the ability to purchase Activity Tickets as well as Yearbooks through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. While still in the Fees section, at the bottom of the page, it will say Optional Fees. When you click on this button it will bring you to another page that lists the optional items you may purchase. You can add any of those items to your cart and then checkout. Payments can be made by credit card or e-Check within the Infinite Campus portal or by bringing cash or check to Registration Day on August 11.
If at any time you need assistance with your application, you can SAVE your progress and call 712-476-2701 during business hours (9:00 am – 12:00 and 1:00 – 3:00 pm) and we'll be happy to help you.
COMPLETING A FREE AND REDUCED MEAL APPLICATION
According to the USDA, ALL STUDENT MEALS WILL RETURN TO FULL PRICE FOR THE 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR, unless your family qualifies for free and reduced-priced meals via application or direct state eligibility. Therefore, Free and Reduced Meal applications will be required for the school year 2022-2023. The 2022-2023 Iowa Application for Free & Reduced Price School Meals/Milk is available on this website, or the High School office. The Application may be returned at any time. However, to have your fees considered at Registration, the Application must be completed and returned to the High School office by August 1, 2022. Students who have been designated free or reduced via state eligibility (or application) will need to return the Waiver Statement to school for Book Fees to reflect Free or Reduced. If you believe you may qualify for free or reduced fees, we encourage you to complete the Free and Reduced Meal Application including the Waiver Statement and return it to school by August 1, 2022. Qualifying for free or reduced meals via application will also allow you to receive free or reduced instructional fees.
